Dear Jack,

You were recently asked again to serve as a greeter at our church. Several people made sure to reach out to me afterwards, telling me specifically what a great job you did.

It makes me proud to know that despite this not being something you would have necessarily sought out on your own to do, you didn’t hestitate once you were asked.

In fact, I would tell you were excited to get to church that morning to do your job.
