      Hi Almond Joycie,

I like your name. WordPress sent me mine to my hotmail account. My only guess as to why you haven’t received one yet would be A) you haven’t had your blog for a full year yet or B) they just haven’t sent you your review yet, as it seems they actually are doing them sort of manually for people.

I didn’t get one either. mmm. Perhaps it went to spam? I love the idea though. It’s encouraging to me, b/c I have a lot (by my standards) of readers…app. 400 or so…but very little comments…which is frustrating. It’s nice to see that your blog -a lot “healthier” than mine, doesn’t have a huge comment count either.

By the way, I took a look around & like it a lot. You may be interested to know…. I got here by doing a search for Kirk Cameron & got to your post about born again xians, which I really liked & emailed to myself. =) then I read your post about evolution, which I also enjoyed….then I hopped over to Amazon to order “The Complete Idiot’s guide to Publishing Magazine Articles,” (something I’ve been plotting doing for over a year now, but your success with American Baby pushed me over the limit)! =) After that, I came back & read your “about” pages & now I’m commenting.

You leave a good 1st impression.

    congrats on your tot! =)

      Hi Grace,

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I checked out your site. You are cool. I think your book will be ready sooner than you imagine. It looks like you stay pretty busy speaking at places. That’s awesome.

You’re right- I’m not one of those writers who gets a lot of comments- maybe in part because I don’t worship Twitter. I’ve published 468 posts and have received 848 comments, but that includes my responses like this. Something I would like for you to teach me about is ads. I don’t have any on my site but I noticed you do. If you wouldn’t mind, I would appreciate you sending me an email to nickshell1983@hotmail.com. I have no idea what to charge for ads. You could help me tremendously :) Thank you Grace.
